Case study

Bringing back a true copper.

Two-step refresh on a previously box-coloured base — a strategic lift through the lengths, then a copper gloss laid carefully so the tone reads warm without going orange. Finished with a soft round-brush set.

  • Goldwell + Wella custom mix
  • Olaplex 1+2 protected the lift
  • Maintenance: gloss every 6 weeks
Cherry red placement
fig. 02Cherry red · placement

Case study

A red that holds.

Vivid placement against a deep brown base. The trick to a long-wearing red is the prep — the underlying tone has to read warm, not ashy. Sealed with a low-pH acid rinse so the colour molecules lock at the cuticle.

  • Pulpriot + Wellaplex blend
  • Cool-water rinse, sulfate-free at home
  • Touch-up: every 8–10 weeks
